Let’s make a movie for Eastbourne Carnival 2026 🎬

Eastbourne Carnival is delighted to announce that registration for the 2026 event will be open in February 2026.

We can now reveal the much-anticipated artwork for our theme for 2026 – which is ‘Lights, Camera, Action’

This theme gives our entrants the chance to get inspiration from Theatre, Movies, and Television – and create great costumes, props and floats.

The Carnival artwork for ‘Lights, Camera, Action’ has been designed by  WriteHand Designs

Carnival workshops, sponsored by Lightning Fibre, will begin in February 2026, with a ‘Meet the Makers’ Day will take place on 21st February, 10am – 1pm in Gather at the Beacon.

You can meet our workshop practitioners, and members of the Carnival Committee,  and sign up to the workshops – which are FREE for carnival entrants.

Eastbourne Carnival will be held on the seafront on Saturday 23^rd May 2026.

We are looking for Sponsors, and Volunteers to help us with Marshaling and Bucket Collections on the day.
