Carnival workshops are back to support entrants with costume and performance one again.
Last years’ Winners of Best Float – You Raise Me Up – received help and advice with their costumes and floats through the Carnival. Here is what they had to say about their experience:
“Being part of the Eastbourne Carnival for our charity was an amazing rewarding way to involve our families and supporters in hi lighting the work of the charity as well as have fun!
Hours of work before the event cutting , sticking, painting and designing with input from Cheryl from Mucky Mermaids helped us build the most amazing float that WON!!!
Having Cheryl’s advice and guidance made us go bigger and better in our ideas!
To have our families involved meant so much. The butterfly & The bunting on the float had the names of the children lost in their honour.”
This year, Cotton Candy Creators are holding workshops over two days on 25th and 26th March at the Gather, in the Beacon Eastbourne.

Group requests:
Please email Mina O’Brien via info@eastbournecarnival.com with details about your group – we have a budget to facilitate and fund a small number of group requests. Group tuition will be hosted by Cherry Dance
Individual Tuition:
Individuals can book in with Cherry Dance or Zumba with Emma for their weekly classes on Thursdays (Cherry Dance) or Tuesdays (Zumba with Emma (class fees apply).
