Eastbourne Bonfire Society

We’ve had 3years of Carnival building with Eastbourne Bonfire Society and we have found the workshops very helpful, informative and friendly.

At the Costume making workshops, with ideas and help from Nic at Number 186, some of our members made their flame costumes, and had a great time making them.

The Prop making workshop with Gina was also very useful to us. There we made the figurehead and the tail for our Viking long boat, and also some of our oars – while getting further tips and ideas for the rest of our build.

Cotton Candy Costume workshop: It was great talking with Jacqui. There we learnt how to work with materials and gained more ideas for our build
